Inserting theme components

Overview

Applying a theme to a document allows you insert various theme components such as banners, navigation bars, and etc. If you prefer using the default blank document, you can simply apply a blank theme to it. If you want to insert theme components that link multiple documents such as navigation bars, you will need to create a site and then add the components.

Inserting a navigation bar theme component

 

1.

Create a new site or open an existing site.

In the Format menu, click Theme... and choose a theme from the Resource Manager and click OK.

To insert navigation bars in the documents, you should create the Navigation Tree first. Select the Structure tab and right-click the project icon. Select {Add to Navigation Tree > Insert Existing Documents...} in the shortcut menu. All the document in the project are added to the Navigation Tree.

Namo WebEditor represents the site structure as Navigation Tree as in the image below.

Select the [Format > Change Theme] menu command. In the Theme Gallery, click a category in the left category list and click Apply. Select All the files in the project under Apply theme to and click OK.
Double-click one of the documents in the Navigation Tree. The document is opened in the Edit window.

Place the cursor at the position where you want to insert a navigation bar and select the [Insert > Theme Components > Navigation Bar...] menu command.

In the Navigation Bar Properties dialog box, specify Navigation bar type, Orientation, and Appearance of the navigation bar. You can modify the type and shape of the navigation bar by pressing the Modify Navigation Bar... button and clicking Modify Image Shape... in the Navigation Bar Settings dialog box.

Click OK. The specified navigation bar is inserted in the Edit window as follows.
