Tell us about your website and your customers.

All content on my web site (www.johannrain-softwareentwicklung.de or shorter and easier to remember: www.jr-s.biz) is available in both German and/or English. Visitors come from all over the world and more than two thirds of the buyers are not from German-speaking countries! We started with security products and software development, and now we have all kinds of services including shareware and freeware, information services, scanners, security audits and further recommendations for visitors. So, a real smorgasbord that offers something for almost everyone, where visitors come back and recommend our site to others.

What is your marketing strategy?

Our website is recommended in many forums and is among the top hits in most search engines ? this creates a relationship of trust where our visitors are also satisfied customers - who will remember us when they have to make their next purchase. We try to keep ads from outside to an absolute minimum, with as little impact in layout and wording as possible... and our visitors appreciate that. They find what they came for... we think that's the key.
The site is well-positioned in the most important search engines. We generally don't advertise at other sites. And because we only use Whitehead SEO techniques for our site optimization, we're fairly optimistic with regard to future hit rates.

What is great about being an affiliate at Namo?

Namo products are well-known and appreciated in the software community. We're happy every time when we see in our log files that someone has been looking specifically for them - competition is strong in this product segment, and there is a lot of rivalry for potential buyers...
