Using DeepSearch 4


Meta Search

Per Page option specifies how many search results to display in a page. Minimum is 10, and Maximum is 50.

Here you can set the target websites. If you select Web, DeepSearch 4 will bring search results from major search engines like Yahoo. If you select News Sites, DeepSearch 4 will search from major news sites.

You can narrow the search by selecting one of three file types: documents, images, and sounds.

You can select from Relevance and Site Name. Relevance option sorts results by high to low relevance, and Site Name sorts results by sites. When you select Site, all the results will be shown in a page.

Sets the time limit for search result.
For example, if you select 10, the results will be pages that were found within 10 seconds. Meta Search in general, completes its search within 20 seconds. However, News Sites are slower and can take 30 seconds to complete a search. When you select Optimal, the timeout for Meta Web search is set to 20 seconds, and that for Meta News Sites search is set to 30 seconds.
