Operating System
Windows NT/2000, UNIX, Linux(Redhat 6.0), Solaris 2.5.x (Sun Spark)

Web Server Platform
The server computer must be linked to the Internet and have a Web server program that supports CGI (Common Gateway Interface) such as Microsoft PSW (Personal Web Server), IIS (Internet Information Server) used in Windows NT, Apache in Unix, etc.

Disk Space
Minimum of 7MB & 37MB hard disk space is required depending on options you select. However, sufficient disk space for saving index database file is needed for proper running (depending on amounts of index). Depending on user's need, user can install either or both default indexer and advanced indexer. When installed both indexers, you can choose which indexer to use in administrator page.

Advanced Indexer
Search capabilities in Korean language are considerably improved. However, it requires additional 30MB of hard disk space.

Default indexer
If you do not need to index Korean language, use only default indexer.

Telnet and ftp access (for Unix/Linux Web server)
In order to install DeepSearch 4 on a web server running Solaris or Linux, you need to upload all the DeepSearch 4 setup files to the server before installing by using ftp or telnet.

CGI Permission
You also need to have CGI permission and know the CGI URL and CGI directory to manage DeepSearch 4. If you don't have CGI program permission, ask your web server administrator.
